Membership Defined
Hunting Creek Country Club is a private member-owned club, thus members must be duly elected to the Club. Membership entitles the member, the member’s spouse and children under the age of 21 living with the member to the use and privileges provided by the applicable category of membership. Children of members who are full-time students and supported by their parents may use the Club facilities until their 23rd birthday.
Instructions to Obtain Membership
Proposal for membership in any class of membership must be made by a Regular member of the Club and endorsed by two other members whom are in good standing and not related to the applicant by blood or marriage.
Anyone desiring Club membership shall secure from the Club Office one application form, which must be completed in full. The Regular member sponsoring the applicant must write a letter addressed to the Board of Directors and the two endorsing members recommending the applicant must sign the application for membership. The applicable agreed initiation fee for the particular type of membership must accompany the application, the letter of endorsement, the completed application papers and the initiation fee shall be sent to the Club Office. A copy of the application is available in the business office and the names of the potential members will then be posted for a minimum of thirty days prior to the Board meeting at which time the application is to be considered. The membership committee chairman will arrange a meeting at which time the sponsor will introduce the applicant to at least three Board members. The sponsor's introduction of the applicant to three Board members must be completed before any Board of Directors' action can be taken on the application.
Upon acceptance, you will be notified by the Secretary of the Club in writing. You will also receive a copy of the Club By-Laws and a Club Directory.
If you have any questions pertaining to membership, please contact Mary Jones at 502-228-1106.
